Originally from KwaZulu-Natal in Durban, Azande obtained a Bachelor of Live Performance (stage & screen acting) at AFDA in 2018. Azande has the utmost respect and passion for the arts - in its entire form be it on stage, screen, presenting, singing, dancing or behind the scenes.
Professionally, she’s had the honour to work and gain experience in theatre acting for an HIV/AIDS awareness campaign alongside Paul Noko. She’s stage managed for KKK, echoes of time and a theatre duo (Tswalo). In terms of screen, she’s worked behind the scenes for multiple productions as a production assistant, talent coordinator, logger, editor, camerawoman, assistant to the director and producer. These productions include The Voice South Africa, Nigeria, Angola and Francophone. L’Oréal, The river, Urban Brew Studios (Gold Diggers), iSHE productions (Venda Spring Festival Event), ATI Media (CentKidz).
Last year (2023), she made an appearance for KwaSha!! Theatre Company – KwaSha The 6th. Currently (2024) she is a part of, ‘Sibongile and the Dlamini’s S2 playing the character of Zama Khumalo.
