Nkateko Mabunda is a South African actor best known for her role as Mixo in the SABC 2’s Telenovela Giyani: Land Of Blood S3. In 2024, she booked a role in a Mzansi Magic’s Obstruction playing the character of Bulma. Another role in a Mzansi Magic Movie, Bakgotsi 4 Life playing the character of Lemie.

Born in South Africa, Nkateko grew up in a Pretorian Township where she found her love for performing and filmmaking. She finished her matric in 2020 and was accepted for Performing Arts course at Tshwane University of Technology in 2022. She was also part of a Musical Theatre cast during the same year which was the same year when she was introduced to our small screen when she got a supporting role on SABC 2’s Xitsonga, Giyani: Land of Blood and that's when many of her doors started opening.
