Siyamthand Banda is a South African Actor born and raised in Mpumalang, Bethal. Siyamthanda’s love for acting began when he didn’t even know it was called acting, at the age of 9 that’s when he knew for sure this was what he wanted to do and would stop at nothing. Where he grew up was a small Town where dreams of becoming an Actor were impossible but he was determined that he would be the first one to do it from his town Bethal, he then took steps towards making that dream a reality. In 2017 he took his first acting Classes at ZIMISELENI ARTS PROJECT where he was exposed to community theatre, he then got to do theatre plays and perform in multiple community theatre’s. His Love for acting and telling stories “truthfully“ became his life. In 2021 he booked his very first TV role on THE ESTATE SABC3 playing the character of Nhlakanipho (cameo) HE KNEW THEN that he had something unique and special he wanted to share with the world

After completing Matric, he went to further his studies at the Market Theatre 2023. In that year he booked his second role on The Black Door on Etv. In 2024, he went to study at ACTOR SPACES where his career picked up after booking his first principle ROLE on CHAMPIONS Mzansi magic where he’s CURRENTLY PLAYING THE ROLE OF Lunga.
