In the latest episode of DiCHiPi UNFiLTERED, host Barbara Moagi and guest co-host Lauren Smit discussed the powerful message behind the JiK’iFESTO and what it means to them as young women navigating today’s world.

Lauren spoke about her long-standing desire for a movement that truly represents and supports youth. For her, the JiK’iZinto Manifesto isn’t just another statement—it’s an action. She emphasised how the platform doesn’t just claim to support its community but actively works to be there when it counts, making a real difference. She shared that JiK’iZinto “isn’t about lip service and claiming to support you but not being there when needed.”

The manifesto, according to Lauren, deeply resonates with her. She explained that JiK’iZinto is a platform that genuinely cares and “puts in the work to reach more people.” For her, it’s not only a source of empowerment but also a space that provides the necessary tools for growth and connection.

One of the key ways JiK’iZinto has impacted Lauren is through the Big Sis chatbot. She shared that this service has been a personal game-changer, offering non-judgemental, accurate, and informative advice whenever she needs it. “I have someone I can go to, someone I can contact and someone that has my back,” she said, adding that knowing she has that support has been incredibly soothing.

For Lauren, being a part of JiK’iZinto has been a proud moment, as the platform continues to help her and countless others navigate life with confidence and support.
