I started this journey back in 2021, a year when I was just trying to get a foot in the industry - but 2024 is where I really feel like my career has taken off—like everything’s changing for the better. I still can’t believe I’m part of DiCHiPi by JiK’iZiNTO, the biggest show in the country - haha. Landing the role of Sthe is surreal.
Sthe and I… well, we’re not exactly the same. He’s that guy, the one all the girls have their eye on. I can’t say I’ve ever been that guy! But with every character I play, I dig deep. I search for something real, something within myself to connect with, and for Sthe, it’s his humility. He’s got this genuine kindness that I really respect. It was that humility that helped me drive the character home.
And let me tell you, apart from all his great personality traits - Sthe has style. His wardrobe is something else, and I can’t deny I’ve taken a few style tips from him too. He’s got me experimenting with fashion in ways I wouldn’t have before. But more than that, he’s a good guy—someone who steps up for others. Like in one scene where he notices a girl’s got a stain on her pants. He doesn’t laugh or look away like most young guys behave; he just helps her, no fuss, no judgment. That’s a lesson right there.
If I had any advice to give the young ones who are coming up, I’d say this: JiK’iZinto—change things up. Whatever you’re facing—struggles, depression, financial stress—there’s power within you to turn it around. If things feel stuck, JiK’iZinto. If the path looks too hard, JiK’iZinto. Everything you need to keep going is already inside of you.
